Non-vernacular speakers might find this songlist of selected languages elusive, and non-Welsh Saxon blabbers won't get the meaning -if there's any- of Gruff Rhys' mother tongue, although that proved no matter to followers of Wales' own Super Furry Animals: their only release entirely in Welsh language sold enough well out of their borders for fans demanding more share of cymraeg stuff at their overseas gigs. One would even wonder why won't they give up singing in English already, but either way the Furries sound as good as ever.

Dos acords: en este vídeo de Gruff Rhys fent el cabra podeu comprovar que la part de guitarra en Calimero no té més ni menys; en acabant, en grup sona prou més compacta, però les poques voltes que jo l'he tocada en públic -dos, que jo recorde- ha eixit una rendició pareguda a esta. La qual cosa no deixa de ser meritòria, lletra en gal·lés o no. Tot açò ve per la llista de cançons en llengües xungues que m'han publicat en la Tres Deu esta setmana, que donaria per a un fum d'extractes i notes al peu...

Cerys Matthews la de Catatonia té una bocota dâ pam i una veueta com la de la Russian Red eixa, però com a mínim la xica esta té gust per la cançó popular gal·lesa (amb tocs dylanencs i tot): no debades, per a ser nascuda en Caerdydd diu que parla no només l'anglés i el gal·lés, sinó també castellà i català (!) de quan va treballar per ací prop de passejadora...

Els Gorky's Zygotic Mynci de Caerfyrddin són -eren- el millor grup que ACPV va dur als concerts del 25 d'abril a la Plaça de Bous i jo -possiblement- l'únic que els va apreciar: la resta de gent els va trobar massa fora de lloc aquell any 2000 junt amb els Berrogüetto, Kepa Junkera, Sopa de Cabra i Al Tall, encara que el leitmotiv era l'Europa de les nacions...
