El motiu d'esta versió xaranguera del hit de Johnny Cash es remunta als orígens d'este bloq, allà per març del 2010: llavors la lletra encara era un embrió del qual només tenia els dos primers versets i el títol, tan immediat com previsible, però evocador al cap i a la fi. No debades, el món de les falles -o, més aïna, la coentor que el governa- pareix tindre més detractors incondicionals que participants autocrítics. Perquè, al remat, el sarcasme irredempt de Les putes Falles entra dins de la idiosincràsia fallera original i del cançoner tradicional valencià, no?
