[starttext]A més d'Evangelion, també estic xamant-me la sèrie de Shulato. Vaig vore algun capítol solt en Antena 3 en l'època que s'estilaven els cavallers d'armadura i, encara que és com Caballeros del Zodíaco però a l'estil hindú, com a mínim al començament no s'entretenen en romanços: el primer capítol acaba amb un gir prou interessant i en el segon ja ens presenten als huit hachibushu protagonistes i comença el destarifo. Ara, en algunes coses no pot superar a Saint Seiya, com per exemple en l'obertura (en l'original japonesa, no en la coentíssima versió francohispana).[endtext]

Jo vaig vore els dos primers capítols en VHS en l'fnac i prou: ni m'enganxà ni vaig tornar a entropessar mai més amb ella. Ara me l'he firada per vore com acaba, que va tufar tant als otaku en l'època que tingueren de refer la història per a les pel·lícules posteriors. Veent ara com comença la sèrie, està clar que la cosa no acabarà bé: i no ho dic pel romanç psicològic que duen entre mans, sinó per la coentor norantera de la cançó d'entrada, la qual també està ben considerada pel fandom. Com a mínim, en japonés sempre sona més èpica que en català o en valencià.[endtext]

I first came upon the concept while googleing a synopsys for 学園黙示録 Highschool of the Dead: funny enough, most comments warned about the occurrence of -being these a series which revolves mostly about zombies on contemporary, suburban Japan- bouncing, oversized breasts and panchira all over the way, most notably on the covers of the original manga by Daisuke and Shōji Satō, as well as in other promotional art. Anyway, what's actually of note is HOTD's theme by Kishida Kyoudan & the Akeboshi Rockets, presented here in its extended live version: now that's what I call true «fan service»![endtext]
