Fa gràcia com els anglòfons pronuncien sempre mal el cognom d'Ernesto Guevara i ho lligen com un diftong; ara, no són els únics, que el cantautor grec Μάνος Λοΐζος, nascut a Egipte de pares xipriotes també vacil·la entre les dos pronúncies en esta cançó, una de les més celebrades del seu repertori i una altra més entre tantes dedicades al màrtir més popular del segle XX, un dels pocs militars reivindicat pels antimilitaristes.
