Some funny facts about Lemmy: his biological father was a chaplain in the RAF which he never got to know and, therefore, he hated him; he lived with his family near Anglesey in Wales from age ten to sixteen; it was there where he arguably got his nickname by making a catchphrase of «Lemme a quid till Friday» and when he started to fancy birds, rock&roll and... horses? He even learned to play over Please Please Me and saw the Beatles live at the Cavern. But what's most admirably is that he's stuck to Rickenbacker past the 80's when other famous endorsers like Geddy Lee or Roger Glover switched to the majors in basscrafting!
